using my spare 2ft tank as a sump...thought it was a great idea, but the medias were too heavy the whole base cracked and i had to mop the floor....sofa got wet and arhhhh, wat a mess...

DIY overflow box system, had a hard time trying to figure out the physics of water transfer and got it right at last...cement everything myself, cant sleep for the first few nights afraid that there will be leaks and i will wake up in a swimming pool of fish water while my having a tank of dry fishes.
