Good stuff must update...

6" indo tiger...love this guy...look at the body...

but he like to squeeze together with the other cats...sianzzz...bad influence.
not very clear pics, but the other side of him...flying pheonix, or Fei Feng...hardworking algea eater...it keeps sucking on your tank walls and floor clearing all the algea in your tank...nice peaceful guy.
if you are not careful, it may even suck the skin off your stingray...

something new a day keeps the keeper alife...
nice little cactus, was walking pass the nursery when i saw a gal walking in....then i came out with these 2...anyway...
whats more important is that i got an ozonizer...
budget 1 since i have yet to use such equipment before. hailea HLO-810
200mg/hr, integrated air pump, 10w, not adjustable
this product has been in the market for quite some time and relatively reliable (on the budget side).

here's some review...

These Budget priced Generators from Hailea work on the high voltage Corrona discharge principle and are therefore extremely economical to use, and in recent years have become somewhat more affordable.

Below is an extract from the HAILEA instruction leaflet.
1) HIGH EFFICIENCY STERILISATION. Sterilisation using ozone is 1.5-5 times quicker than ultraviolet light and 300 to 3000 times faster than chlorine.
2) WIDE USAGE. Ozone has the funtion of killing germs, viruses, parasites and microbes. In addition it , removes odours and clears poisonous / harmful chemicals. It also can aid in curing tail rot, erythema, scale disease and mold.
3) ECONOMICAL AND CONVENIENT. It only uses air and oygen as raw materials, therefore requiring no medicines and additives. Power output only 10 watts.
4) NO SECONDARY POLLUTION. It has no by product or remainder after reaction so therefore does not create any further problems.
""
to prevent any mishap from overdosing, i got an ORP monitor.
pinpoint, another well known brand, mid range i will say...
now lets c what miracles ozonizing will bring, i will be looking forward to the results, hope my fishes dun end up in heaven through overdosing...
current tank...yellowish because of the black water extract (Azoo)

good morning, i made a revamp to my filter system after getting a cheap 2nd hand fgt box filter...

this is how the whole setup looks like, not a very tidy setup i know, but i am more concern abt my fishes and the water quality...

3 main sections, the tank, the fgt box filter and the blue tub at the bottom...this will be my main tank, still the same as usual, housing a silver aro, a motoro and 2 irwinis...this will be the new 2nd hand fgt filter that i got, running a tom800 from the blue tub at the bottom into the inlet...here is the tom800 located at the corner...these are the medias in the 3 compartment fgt filter, mainly biohome...i placed the fgt filter box at the side as i did not want to add pressure to my main tank or cover the tub which i intended to keep some fishes...
so this is what i did, as the outlet is located at the bottom, i placed a 3ft OHF below to run the water from the outlet into the blue tub...and this is the outlet flowing into a flower pot with medias inside as well...
the white piping is overflow water from the main tank using a DIY overflow system...and lastly, my blue tub housing 3 payaras, 2 brackish moray eel and a black ghost knife which i think has been swollowed by 1 of the moray...
